What is Scum?

Welcome to Scumatb.co.uk. Scum has been founded to support mountain boarders in the Brighton Area (and beyond), by mountain boarders from the Brighton Area.

The site is intended as a focal point to encourage boarders to meet up and share experiences, locations etc… We hope to attract new riders to the sport, and support existing riders with information, advice and events.

We also want to use the site as a host for creative input, be it writing articles, photography, or music (mountain board related or otherwise).

We have been riding the Brighton area for around two years now and have lots of great locations, and are constantly finding more. We have about a years worth of footage at present and hope to have a DVD completed and available soon. Short clips of particular sessions will be posted on the site as soon as they are edited, and photos posted in the gallery.

Although a non profit dis-organisation, if we find ways to raise money they are to be used to fund trips to other locations, in particular trying to get team members to the rounds of the UK National Series. SCUM take over!!

Please get in touch if you’re already a boarder, or would like to get involved. We have riders of all ages, both male and female, and of all levels of ability. We probably have enough equipment between us all to provide all you need for a chance to have a go before buying boards etc. Some ones up for riding most Saturdays and Sundays and even cold winter evenings.
