Cissbury Ring
Its along way to the top but its got a good mixture of different things to ride including: fast runs, drops, natural hips, kickers and a superb long run back to the car park.

Chanctonbury Ring
Again a lot of walking involved but the lines are well worth it, mixture of wood runs and long wide grass runs.

Clayton Windmill
Look for track on right after crest of hill. This takes you up to a Car Park by the windmills. Through the gate at end of car park and you have a nice long run down the field with some nice smooth natural rollers going across the hill. Not too fast, great for carving, and suitable for beginners.

Devils Dyke
Not for beginners, some serious hills here! Naturally formed, this deep dry valley will destroy your soul, luckily enough theres a pub at the top!

Fittleworth
Superb single tracks, through tight woodlands with features such as drop offs and a small kicker. Beware of walkers as some of these runs are fast and tight with few places to stop. This location is one of the few spots that rides fast all year, it's very sheltered and has a very sandy soil type which seems to drain really well so it never gets boggy.

Stanmer Park
Some great runs for all abilities, mostly wood singe track but there’s also grass slopes, kickers, drops etc. Definitely worth a visit.

Woodlands with some good runs and interesting features: kickers and drop offs, there’s stuff here to ride for all abilities. Similar to Fittleworth in terrain but not quite as fast.

Varndean College
Great place for beginners or for taking a kicker too, this location is a college & school sport field, it has various drops and slopes and a couple of longish mellow runs.

Wild Park
This is another spot that’s probably best avoided by beginners, there are various runs around the park including a disused ski slope; which is all grass and stupidly steep, long and fast (you cant miss it). There’s also various runs, boarder x’s, kickers, hips and tabletops dotted around through all the surrounding woods, its all purpose built for mountain bikes so some of it is unusable, but most is good fun.
